In Memory of
the Canadians who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, a portion
of the proceeds from the sale of Orange Alert will go to The Salvation
Army. In the days, weeks and months following the terrorist attacks,
The Salvation Army served over 3 1/2 million meals and logged over 1
million volunteer hours at and around ground zero.

"Canadians must not
forget the tragedy of September 11, 2001, or the 26 Canadians who died
that day in New York. This well written and touching book will help
us to remember, and to pay tribute to those who died by how we live."
Frank
O'Dea, Co-Founder, The Second Cup
"Debra and David Brown
make an important contribution to our national memory of 9/11. These
personal stories of individual Canadians' response are a powerful reminder
that we all shared the horror of 9/11 and how we are together in our
uncertainty of, and hope for, the future."
Kathryn
McCain, Chair, The McCain Foundation
"Orange Alert moved

September 11th. We should never forget! Thank you for tracking down
these memories and recording them in this wonderful and very worthwhile
book."

of 9/11 must never be forgotten."
